Main applition 

China ZW32 24 outdoor high voltage vacuum breaker is an outdoor distribution equipment of rated voltage 24KV, 50Hz three phase model, mainly used to break, make the power circuit with load current, overloading current and short cireuit current, installed in substation, the distribution system of industrial enterprises for protection and control, also suited for agricultural network and where there require frequent operation, and the network equipment to be improved.

MAIN FEATURES

The China ZW32 24 outdoor high voltage vacuum breaker is three phases constructed in one base, has the advantages of reliable breaking performance, no flammable and explosive risk, safety, free of maintenance, small size, light weight, long working life.

Minimized design, full sealed structure, peculiar arc-extinguishing chamber, good hermetical performance, moistureproof, dew resistant, suitable for working in zone with high ambient temperature and dampness

Three phase column and current transformers adopted foreign epoxy resin for outdoor use, silicone rubber for solid insulation, with the merits of high temperature withstand, anti-aging and resistant ultraviolet radiation.

Small spring operating mechanism，new style，simple，reliable operation，mechani cal endurance more than 10000 times，low energy required to operate，driving mechanism has several parts，directly transfer the operating torque，high reliability.

The CLOSE，OPEN for breaker can be performed by hand or motor and remote control.
Intelligent controller can be added，it provides three-stage current protection，sequence phase protection，reclose，fast breaking and etc protection functions.
China ZW32 24 outdoor high voltage vacuum breaker supports many communication protocol to become network，realize the breaker not only operated locally by hand or remotely control，also via communication protocol it can be operated from other control center.If the breaker installed with reclosing controller or sectionlization controller，the breaker become recloser or sectionlizer.

The China ZW32 24 outdoor high voltage vacuum breaker can assemble two or three CT into two or three phases respectively，the output current is the signal for auto tripping device and intelligent controller，realize over-current protection and measurement function.Generally CT transformation ratio has 200/5，400/5，600/5.As required，the accuracy and ratio for the CT can be determined by user.

Spring operating mechanism fixed into the mechanism box，to avoid the rust，improve the reliability.

The mounting method for breaker is pole standing mounting.

The China ZW32 24 outdoor high voltage vacuum breaker can add isolator，which three phases gang operated，at the OFF position of isolator，the isolating break can be visible easily，the interlock with China ZW32 24 outdoor high voltage vacuum breaker provided，also supporting insulator for surge arrester can be mounted.

•Operating mechanism and working theory
Operation of charging energy

Pull the loop by hand to charge the energy, or send a signal to motor, the gear wheel drive cam to rotate, the closing spring is drawn long, when the spring pass by the middle position, the cam will be retained in the position, the breaker ready for closing, meanwhile cam is isolated from driving shaft, to avoid the mechanism from charging energy again.

Closing Operation

After finish charging energy, pull the loop to close the mechanism or electricize the closing coil, make closing half shaft to rotate, closing shoulder untied from closing half shaft, the energy release from the closing spring, to drive the output shaft rotating, via radius rod, drive connecting plate and moving contact with arc arc-extinguishing chamber to move upside, contacted with static contact, and it will provide the contacting pressure, and charge the energy into opening spring, keep breaker in CLOSE status.

When China ZW32 24 outdoor high voltage vacuum breaker in CLOSE status, operate to charge energy, the closing spring will be drawn long again, after the spring pass by middle, closing half shaft to be buttoned by interlock device, this is to avoid mechanism from wrong closing.

At CLOSE and energy charged status, the mechanism now under reclosing status, it can realize O-0.3S-C one time of reclosing.

Opening operation

After the breaker closed, pull the loop to open the China ZW32 24 outdoor high voltage vacuum breaker or electricize the opening coil, the closing holding unit untied, mechanism output shaft driven by contacting spring and opening spring to rotate in reverse direction, via driving rod, connecting rod make arc-extinguishing chamber and moveable contact move downside, the breaker opened, the OPEN status retained by opening spring.

Over-current protection

For the breaker with current transformers, when the current passing through the main circuit of the breaker exceeds the rated value of CT, secondary winding of CT output 5 A, driving the over-current release to trip the breaker.

when user required the breaker to be added with isolator, the model is ZW32-24G series, outline and dimensions as Figure 2, the isolator can be fixed on the tank of China ZW32 24 outdoor high voltage vacuum breaker by use of bolts and nut, firmly, steadily, easy to be dismantled.

The isolator consists of isolating frame, insulators, insulating pulling rod, blade, isolating shaft, incoming terminal plate, operating handle. The isolating frame fixed on the tank, the blade supported by downward outgoing conductor of the breaker, form the one side of isolating break, operate insulator and driving shaft to open /close the blade, three phase gang operated, when in OPEN position, it form other side of isolating break. It provides the reliable interlock between isolator and breaker to prevent wrong closing, easy maintenance and safety.

Operation sequence for isolator

 Notices                                                                                                                                                                              a) It is forbidden close or open the isolator while breaker in CLOSE position                                                                  b) The isolator shall be switched on/off completely in place, or breaker is not allowed to be opened or closed.

     

•Installation, Operation and Maintenance

  When open the package it shall check the insulating tube is broken or not, nameplate, QC comply with contract or not, packed goods are as packing list specified or not.

  Before the breaker put into service, please carefully check the rated voltage and current of each component meet with actual requirement, and it shall commission closing and opening breaker by existing operating methods, to check all index are ok or not.

  The China ZW32 24 outdoor high voltage vacuum breaker can be mounted on single pole, mounting holes as figure 1.

  The special structure can keep the breaker running free of maintenance for long time, only power frequency withstand voltage test shall be performed every 3-5 years.

  The user shall not replace the electric components different from the existing ones.

  The operator shall know the performances of the mechanism, and mountings, regulations, maintenance instructions, and shall record the accidents during operating, if necessary, please notify the manufacturer.
